Debbie Ammons Phillips of Charlotte, NC, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 after a brave battle with cancer.

A native of Greer, SC and daughter of the late Jack and Ruth Ammons, Debbie spent her life in service to others whether through her work as a Customer Service Manager or assisting friends in so many ways or just baking cupcakes to thank others for their kindness.

Surviving are her husband, John W. Phillips, her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Harold James, as well as her children, Brad Phillips, Todd Phillips and Keely Phillips and six grandchildren.

A celebration of her life and memorial service will be held at The Wood Mortuary in Greer, SC on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.

The family will be at the home of Harold and Pam James.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made in Debbie's name to Church of the Apostles, 1520 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
