Obituary for Rhonda Campbell Rector

Greer – Rhonda Campbell Rector, 69, of Greer, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021. She was the loving wife of John Daniel Rector (Dan) and the daughter of the late Arnold and Hazel Traynham Campbell.
Rhonda loved people, especially her family and friends. Rhonda did not meet strangers. Rhonda had a way of making everyone she met feel loved and always welcome. She loved to have a good time and there was never a family get together or party she wasn’t right in the middle of. From holidays to birthdays or special occasions she had a way of making everything more special and making the best out of every situation that presented before her. Her smile was beautiful and her laugh was contagious. Rhonda also enjoyed gardening, working with her flowers, and cooking. She loved sunbathing, the ocean and the beach.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Paul Rector (Jacqueline); grandchildren, Audrey Rector, Stephen Rector, Matthew Williams, Isabella Rector, and Silas Rector; sisters, Christine Early, Kendyl Urgo (Dennis), and Rosa Sullivan (Willie). She is predeceased by her brother, George H. Campbell (Buddy).
The family will receive friends Saturday July 17, 2021 from 3:00PM to 5:00 PM at Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory, 529 Spartanburg Hwy. S., Lyman, SC 29365.
